The JPL Groin/hamstring stabilizer is a hip-spica design. The brace increases localized body temperature of the musculature and ligaments involved while preventing migration down the leg. Preventing migration assures the brace stays in place to provide the most appropriate support. The brace utilizes two six inch linear elastic straps sewn in the most appropriate angles to provide compression over the groin hamstring and quadriceps muscles. The straps run perpendicular to the muscle fibers involved that provides the best support to reduce muscular sprains and strains. The brace uses Velcro closures, is easily applied and provides an extreme amount of support to the groin and thigh musculature. The device is designed to be used as both preventative and an integral part of a rehabilitation program.
